Description

The First Annual "Boulevard Bash" brings the best of Chicago's local scene out for a weekend of music, food and festivity. Come for the music, and stay for a taste of Logan Square's great eats and talented artisans.

Chicago Folk and Roots Festival
We've been enjoying this one for years.   Come out to Welles Park the 10th and 11th.    The music is excellent and this fest is very family friendly.   Check out the web site for times and line ups on multiple stages.

Kidical Mass Bike Parade

Fun, free, group bike rides for kids of all ages!


Fixed start locations/times:

2nd Saturday every month,
next ride July 10,
Palmer Square, 3064 W Palmer Blvd
Gather in center of park at 10:30 AM for 11:00 AM departure


Floating start locations/times, 3rd Saturday morning each month:

July 17, Horner park, 4201 N California ave.,
gather 10:30 AM, ride at 11:00 AM through Albany Park neighborhood

Ride Guidelines

Please wear helmets and ride safely.
Rides are typically 4 miles at a 5-6 mph pace on quiet residential streets, roughly 1 hour with stops.
Rides are suitable for children who have progressed beyond training wheels.
Younger children are welcome on trail-a-bikes, child trailers and child seats of their parent's bike.
Festive dress and decorations encouraged.
It is expected that all kids bring a parent or guardian.
