Join us at the Chicago Public Library for a free celebration of children’s books!

Meet some of your favorite storybook characters:

• Llama Llama Red Pajama
• Frog and Toad
• Pippi Longstocking
• The Storybook King and Queen
• The Library Owl

Celebrate Pat the Bunny’s 70th birthday and Lyle, Lyle Crocodile’s 45th birthday by posing for a photograph with one of them! And greet strolling puppets throughout the building.
Talk with authors and illustrators and make crafts related to their books:

• Laura Numeroff: author of The Jellybeans and the Big Book Bonanza, with the signature Bookamania art by Lynn Munsinger
• Grace Lin: author/illustrator of Thanking the Moon and Where the Mountain Meets the Moon
• Alma Flor Ada and F. Isabel Campoy: authors of ¡Muu, Moo!
• A. G. Ford: illustrator of Goal!
