Mellow Yellow Monday-ChiILin' At The Dance Along Nutcracker
We've been coming to The Dance Along Nutcracker in Chicago annually, since the kids were toddlers. In past years, they've had a fun, over the top conductor who was a middle aged man in a tutu. A couple of years ago, they made it a Nutcracker Circus with 2 little Asian girls who did an amazing contortionist act.
By comparison, this year was pretty vanilla. Still, it was a lot of fun for a free event. A zillion little girls in ballerina costumes got to watch and dance with real ballerinas. And it's always a treat to see events in the gorgeous Preston Bradley Hall in The Cultural Center, with it's domed stained glass ceiling and ornate walls.
We've pulled out the shots with a little or a lot of yellow, to feature for Mellow Yellow Monday. Click below for more fun yellow shots from around the world.

ReplyDeleteYellow Leaves are so much fun for kids!
What a wonderful opportunity for children to dance with professional ballerinas. I love the little girls in tutus and heavy footwear - very funny!
