Cold Chicago Canine! This is our little old lady dog, Alia, who is almost 17 years old. She wiped out in the deep snow this morning, but is happily curled up by the fire now. We had a major blizzard yesterday with some pretty amazing thunder snow. I've never seen anything like it. We could see lightening illuminate the night through the dense flakes, and hear huge cracks of thunder. The winds were fierce.

Oh, poor Alia. I'm so glad she has a fire to warm her up. My husband has wiped out once this winter while walking our dog, and the dog has slipped a bit because she wears dog-snow-boots which aren't good on ice. I prefer to stay in the house until spring!

The storm missed us just east of Rochester, NY. We were ready, even closed schools, but it never arrived, at least not how it was expected.
ReplyDeletePoor cold canine! I'm glad she's warmed up now. Our dog wipes out too, but mostly because she's missing a front leg. She is also curled up by the fire.
Ah, poor thing! So glad she's now warm and cosy! I've been hearing about your blizzards here in Vancouver, Canada, and chuckling a bit (no,not really) as there was a photo in the newspaper of some people out in shorts playing tennis here today!
