ChiIL Mama was excited to recently discover Couch Potatoes Presents, a fun video series by local Chicago videographer/photographer/filmmaker, Jack Lawrence Mayer, featured above.


Here's his description of the above clip:   Couch Potatoes//Living Room Songs spends an evening hanging out with four teenagers in a carpeted basement (brings us back). 
The Hungry Pilgrims--Alaina, Henry, Spencer and Hayden--play us their song, "Flowers."


ChiIL Mama had a chance to film The Blisters live at Schubas and we'll have an exclusive interview and live show footage up in the very near future.    Alaina also sat in for 1 song with The Blisters at Schubas, but sadly that was when I had to flip tapes, so it's the 1 song I missed, though we got some stills!


I had a great chat with her Mom about the joys of raising Montessori kids.    Alaina has a gorgeous voice and I hope we have a chance to see her play out with the boys again in the near future.
