Science + You
On Exhibit: July 19 – December 30, 2011
Enter a child-sized laboratory to explore how scientists impact your health and wellness. Explore machines, processes, and technology that demonstrates the role science plays to keep your body healthy.
Things to Do:
- Make a healthy “pretend” soup in a test kitchen by selecting appropriate ingredients.
- View nature objects and compare your finger prints to others using video microscopes.
- Guide antibodies through the bloodstream to eliminate germs from the body.
- Use a glove box, just like a real scientist to solve mathematical problems.
