Tuesday April 7th Book A Playdate With iFLY INDOOR SKYDIVING & KOHL CHILDREN’S MUSEUM

iFLY INDOOR SKYDIVING COLLABORATES WITH  KOHL CHILDREN’S MUSEUM FOR A FUN-FILLED PLAYDATE

$20 From Every Flight Purchased will be Donated to Kohl Children’s Museum

Here at ChiIL Mama, my son Dugan and I had the opportunity to check out iFLY when they first opened in the Chicago area. It was an utterly unique experience! Come check it out for yourself. All fitness levels, ages and abilities can fly. Why should kids have all the fun?! Get out and try something new. Take that bucket list! If you've been debating it a while, this Tuesday is the perfect time to take the leap, as $20 of each registration benefits the excellent Kohl Children's Museum.

iFLY Indoor Skydiving has partnered with Kohl Children's Museum for an "iFLY-Kohl Playdate" Tuesday, April 7 at 5 p.m. Guests can enjoy indoor skydiving at iFLY's Rosemont location (5520 Park Place) along with food and drinks from a number of MB Financial Park’s delicious restaurants.

Young playdate attendees will also be able explore aerodynamics outside of the wind tunnel by creating Whirligigs! Led by members of the Kohl Children’s Museum’s education team, guests can create small spinning propellers out of paper that can be launched from different heights and then whirl to the ground below. Experimenters will also have the chance to build different versions of Whirligigs, some flatter, some more complex, and perform tests to see which fall faster.

Registration for the playdate event is $69.95 per person with $20 from every registration donated to Kohl Children's Museum in support of its educational programming. Guests will also receive a complimentary video of their flight. Space for the event is limited. To register, guests can call 779-368-4359 and mention the "iFLY-Kohl Playdate."

Anyone who has ever wanted to feel the singular rush of skydiving, from age three to 103, can make their dream a reality at iFLY. The experience perfectly replicates the adrenaline-charged sensation of a skydiving free-fall while eliminating the daunting leap out of an airplane. Following a brief training session, all fliers are outfitted in a flight suit, helmet and goggles before entering the wind tunnel. To begin their flight, patrons simply lean forward onto a cushion of air (toward their friendly, certified iFLY instructor) and the russhing air allows them to float.
