Fright Fest Celebrates 25 Years of Chills And Thrills Just North of Chi, IL

Six Flags Shows No Mercy on the 25th Anniversary of Fright Fest
All Hell Breaks Loose Each Night

Fright Fest is one of my family's annual favorites. Daylight hours are scare-free for the littles and the easily spooked, and lines generally aren't long. After 6pm, things get creepy with scary clowns, chainsaw wielding lumberjacks, vampires, werewolves, and other freaks stalking thrill seekers throughout the park.

Last year we had to go rescue my 12 year old daughter and her 11 year old friend from the arcade where they were hiding out from the chainsaw gang. They were plenty brave enough to ride the big coasters alone, but too creeped out to make a run for our family meeting place. We all had a frightfully good time! Highly recommended.

“Fright Fest is reborn again in 2016 for our biggest haunt yet with no mercy after 6:00 p.m., two new haunted houses and two spectacular new shows,” said operations director, Dameon Nelson. “All of this comes with your favorite characters including the lumberjacks, clowns, werewolves and the most complete Halloween event anywhere in the world!”
