Here at ChiIL Mama and ChiIL Live Shows we adore the Chicago Theatre scene and regularly review an average of 5-7 shows a week! From February 8-18th you too can catch Chicago shows like a critic with huge discounts on shows citywide via Chicago Theatre Week. Here's a rundown of family friendly fare for 2018. Chicago Theatre Week (#CTW18), an annual celebration of the rich tradition of theatre-going in Chicago, is now offering value-priced tickets for a wide variety of family-friendly theatre productions. Theatre Week tickets, priced at $30, $15, or less than $15, are now on sale at www.ChicagoTheatreWeek.com.
Chicago Theatre Week will take place February 8 – 18, 2018, spanning a week and two full weekends. Heading into its sixth year, Chicago Theatre Week is a program of the League of Chicago Theatres in partnership with Choose Chicago. Over 120 theatre productions are participating in neighborhoods throughout the city and suburbs. A list of participating productions is available online at www.ChicagoTheatreWeek.com.
This year, Chicagoland audiences will have a number of family-friendly options during Theatre Week, including classic plays and crazy comedies. From short Shakespeare to pirates, and puppets to Potted Potter, there is something for every child (or the child within).
