Here at ChiIL Mama, I'm jazzed to partner up with Lifeline Theatre for another great giveaway for my readers. Lifeline Theatre's Kidseries has long been a family favorite of ours. My kids grew up with this stellar series, and I still love catching Lifeline's amazing book based adaptations. They're a colorful, fun filled introduction to theatre for the youngest audiences, and can cultivate a lifelong love for the preforming arts. I'll be out for the press opening on October 21st, so check back soon for my full review. In the meantime, one of ChiIL Mama's lucky readers will win 4 Tickets ($60 Value) To Bunnicula at Lifeline Theatre, so enter early and often and help us spread the word about this fantastically fun seasonal show.

Lifeline Theatre presents Bunnicula, a family musical based on the popular children’s book by Deborah and James Howe, with adaptation and lyrics by Lifeline Theatre emeritus ensemble member James Sie, music by Doug Wood, and directed by Lifeline Theatre ensemble member Anthony Kayer. At a showing of Dracula one dark and stormy night, the Monroe family discovers an abandoned rabbit. When they bring him home, resident know-it-all Chester the cat suspects the worst after spying gleaming fangs in the bunny’s mouth. And as vegetables start turning up mysteriously drained of their juices, even easygoing Harold the dog wonders if they have a supernatural menace on their hands. Brave the night and dare to embrace our differences in this musical adaptation of the 1979 book by Deborah and James Howe.

Bunnicula runs Saturday, Oct. 20 – Sunday, Nov. 25 at Lifeline Theatre, 6912 N.
