Photo Feature: Redmoon Theatre's Winter Pageant #Review #ChiILPicksList

Last call. Don't miss this. Final 4 shows this weekend.

ChiIL Mama's ChiIL Picks List
Top Fam Friendly Holiday Shows

Here at ChiIL Mama/ChiIL Live Shows, we're huge fans of Redmoon's community collaboration, massive spectacle, and creative story telling. It was our great pleasure to catch the show Sunday night and we highly and emphatically recommend it.

This year's winter pageant has it all... a newspaper yeti family, dinosaurs and breakdancing aliens, choirs, slide whistles, shadow puppets, aerial arts, a giant pop up book, star crossed lovers, beatbox and buried treasure.

It's a love story that goes beyond the protagonists' newfound love to celebrate our communal love of theatre, adventure, community, epic tales, and collaborative acts. The infamous Yuri Lane, AKA: The Human BeatBox, is back on harmonica and sound effects, and he rocks as narrator. Also, anyone notice the next generation of Frank Margeri's family leaving their creative mark on the show?! He's Redmoon's Producing Artistic Director and his young son and daughter are getting in on the act!

Check out the lobby pop up shop before and after the show, featuring community artists who were part of the production.

More of our favorite photos are embedded below, at the end of this feature. This epic adventure is truly a treat.

As comprehensive as our photo recap is, it's just the tip of the iceberg. Nothing compares to being there! Bring the whole family for this excellent, all ages extravaganza. Kids will even get to BE a chorus of whistling wind storms and take home a slide whistle.

Click here to order your tickets. 4 shows remain--Saturday & Sunday at 1pm & 5pm. Go already. Here at ChiIL Mama and ChiIL Live Show's we've been promoting this show all season but your final chance to catch it is NOW.
